On this case, there was no investigation performed, but the interview was very interesting. The client contacted us about their teenage child that was or as he claimed, being taunted by something that truly frightened him. I met up with them at there home in April 2010; I did some basic readings and measurements of the home before conducting the interview with the Aunt and the teenage boy. The home seemed very warm and inviting. Nothing out of the ordinary. The Aunt who we shall call (Mary) had a very strong religious background and was truly worried about her nephew, who we will call (Dave). The claims goes as follows…..

1. Shadow figure walking through the home when Dave was there.

2. Dave’s name being called out a lot in the home when he was the only one there.

3. Mary hearing running upstairs when Dave was outside.. Heavy footsteps.

4. Nightmares / Night terrors dreams that Dave would experience.

5. Pushing strongly by an unknown force upstairs towards Dave.

6. Shadow figure standing over Dave when he would lie in bed for the night.

I sat down with Dave and Mary and began my five-page questionnaire that I always use during an interview with any client to determine what is going on with the client and the location. Dave seemed that he had a much-challenged life growing up. I did sense some anger with in him. I could tell that he was just reaching out for someone to comfort him.

Dave proceeded to tell me that when he was younger, around the age of seven, a dog attacked his lab and he had to defend the lab and himself by fighting off the pit bull which resulted the termination of the dog. His lab lived and there were no injuries to Dave. Understandably when confronted with this type of situation one has to do what they thought they would never have to do. I could see that this did bother him, and yet he proceeded to tell me that a year later he saw another pit bull and was reminded of the previous attack, Dave killed the pit bull for fear of another attack. During this time, his aunt Mary proceeded to tell me that one day while looking for something to make for dinner; she asked Dave what he would like to eat. To her surprise and shock, Dave responded, “you don’t have anything I like” Mary in returned asked him what would he like for dinner? “Dave said, “I like human”. I asked Dave if he ever remembered this and his response was no. Dave also stated that he does not remember many things from his childhood. We proceeded to go through his experiences that truly have made him very uncomfortable. Dave told me that one day while his Aunt Mary was at work; he was

sitting at the computer and heard a strong male’s voice call out his name from the living room. Another experience was upstairs in his room. He proceeded to walk downstairs when Mary called for him. As he walked by the bathroom, he felt a very strong shoulder shove or as some call it shoulder check, that pushed him back a couple of feet. Dave also stated that the bathroom door upstairs in his room slammed very hard in front of him, as well when he was sleeping one night, Dave woke up sitting on the side of the bed staring at the wall and noticed a very large shadow image in the corner by his bed.

Mary mentioned that when Dave was outside one day, she heard heavy footsteps upstairs and thought it was Dave. However, when she called for him and he came in from outside she was truly shaken by this. After sitting with Mary and Dave for several hours and hearing the situations that they were encountering, which I could tell that they truly were scared, we talked about blessing the home and Dave. Mary was having somebody from her church coming to conduct a blessing. I offered some advice to help with this. I instructed to have Dave blessed outside and stay out there while the home was being blessed. To start from the upstairs and work their way down, leaving only the front door open and all windows closed. Dave called me a week later after this blessing was performed and he told me that he felt like a heavy weight was lifted and everything seemed to be so much clearer, even Mary agreed that what ever was going on there at her home was no longer happening.

Conclusion…

It seemed that Dave had a very rough childhood, from the abandonment from his mother and hardly any communication with his father up to his teenage years and maybe just maybe what was happening could be just the very simple idea of his own energy was manifesting into an entity. The possibility of a true haunting was very real, but with the readings of the home and learning how rough of a road Dave has traveled and everything seemed a lot better after the blessing. My conclusion was that Dave could be reaching out any way possible for much needed attention. Now that he has an understanding of how his immediate family loves him and a new friendship / a big brother from me to help him through the rest of his teenage life, his terrors was truly real and just needed to be guided in the right direction.

NOTE:

Not every case is a haunting, there is the possibilities of self manifestation from the lack of love and comfort from Mom and Dad, sharing those holidays like so many of us take for granted and somebody lashes out with anger and fear of loosing another home and being a outcast. On the other hand, even some medications can cause the sense of fear and illusions. Dave is only 14, not having a steady home life bouncing from family member to family homes or in a state provided home can be rough on anybody and give the sense of unwanted and fear. Children are so innocent and when there minds are lost and scared a defensive mood kicks in and anything can happen.
