Covington old Church Rectory: We were contacted by this family about a home that they just purchased and started to remodel before moving in. During there remodling the wife has been stopped or pushed at one spot everytime on the same spot on the stairs to the second floor. This house is very impressive, large 12 foot ceilings, three stories plus basement.
History of the church and rectory. On New Year’s Day, 1866, Bishop Carrell blessed the cornerstone of the new church, and by November, of that year, the church was ready for dedication. On November 24, 1867, Bishop Carrell dedicated the new St. Aloysius Church amid impressive ceremonies. At the time of the death of Bishop Carrell, the parish had two thousand parishioners with four hundred children under instruction. Father Froelich’s pastorate continued until his untimely death, in 1873, whereupon Bishop Toebbe appointed Reverend John Stephany to the pastorate of St. Aloysius. After a laborious pastorate of thirteen years, on June 21, 1886, St. Aloysius’ second pastor was claimed by death. The third pastor of St. Aloysius Parish was Reverend Joseph Blenke, a native of Camp Springs, Kentucky. Acting on the decree of the recent Council of Baltimore regarding irremovable rectorship, Bishop Maes appointed Father Blenke irremovable pastor of St. Aloysius. During the twenty-one year pastorate of Father Blenke, the church, school and rectory underwent many substantial improvements. In 1889, in connection with the church, he constructed the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes which has become a well-known pilgrimage shrine. Likewise during his pastorate, the new rectory was built. The entire city of Covington, as well as his congregation, was cast into the deepest grief, when on January 23, 1907, it learned of the death of St. Aloysius’ third pastor. On April 1, 1907, Reverend Ignatius M. Ahmann began a pastorate at St. Aloysius, which was to continue for more than forty-two years.
Claims of activity: pushed on the second landing of the steps, Shadow figures, Full bodied Apparitions, and sounds of a older man coughing. Any female that came into this house felt the same anomally on the second landing of the stairs as if somebody put a hand out to stop them from coming up to the second floor, which where the Pastor's bedroom was.

Investigators Notes:

During our Investigation we witnessed a few shadow figures as well a full bodied apparition. Heard alot of walking around above us on the second and third floor. Even seemed as if we were being watched through out the entire night. We also noticed in the basement that a small window in the brick wall gave us visual to a tunnel that ran across the street to a house where the nuns use to live. Not to mention we got high EMF spikes on the Hybrid Mel meter reaching 17 gz
Outside Temp: 78 degrees, Humidity 52%, Inside Temp 72 Degrees. House has been recently updated with new plumbing, wiring, insulation, drywall and roof. Foundation in great shape.

Conculsion: After reviewing the data that was collected on video and audio, we captured some truly interesting footage on video as well audio. Two solid class A evps, and one interesting video clip in the basement of what appeared to be a small shadow figure moving fast into a wall. Also captured a odd noise on audio as if somebody was banging on something with a metal pole, on the third floor. With all this data collected, and our experiences as well, this place does have paranormal activity.
UPDATE: After our Investigation, conducting a Saint Micheal Prayer and blessing the house with sage. The activity as stopped and the family feel safe in their home.
